Laser Genesis is a non-invasive YAG laser treatment that uses thermal energy to stimulate collagen production, improve skin’s texture, reduce wrinkles, diminish acne scars, and pore size for an overall healthier skin complexion.
How Does it Work?
Laser Genesis gently heats the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface, which helps stimulate collagen regrowth and smooths fine lines, shrinks pore size, evens out rough skin texture and fades scarring. The heat generated during treatment also helps to reduce redness.
What can I expect during the treatment?
The treatment is often described as relaxing and comfortable. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure, as the laser hand piece is held above the skin and moved back and forth in a zig zagging motion. You can resume normal activities after a procedure.
What are the results?
Laser Genesis can help restore a more youthful appearance by smoothing out uneven tone and textures caused by aging, sun damage or scars. The patient will see a healthier complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished. An individual treatment is effective but subtle, and multiple treatment results can be quite dramatic.
Is it Safe?
Yes! The most common, if any side effect, is slight redness that disappears within a few hours after treatment.
