Xeomin is a non-surgical treatment injected into specific areas of the forehead to improve the appearance of glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows). Xeomin injections have virtually no downtime, take only minutes to perform, and will relax the muscles to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles.
What is Xeomin?
Xeomin injections consist of a single ingredient: botulinum toxin A, a substance that temporarily inhibits nerve activity in muscles. As you age, your skin loses collagen, leaving it less supple and firm. Smile lines and frown lines that once disappeared when you relax your face will linger and deepen. With Xeomin, these lines and creases are smoothed, leaving you looking refreshed, rested, and younger, in the most natural way.
Am I a candidate for Xeomin in Spring TX?
If you are experiencing the signs of facial aging and have developed creases and lines on the forehead and between your brows, our Spring TX Xeomin injections can smooth them away. At Beauty IQ, we take anti-aging seriously and offer an array of Intelligent Beauty Solutions, including Xeomin injections. Be sure to inform us if you have a neurological disease or have had an allergic reaction to any botulinum toxin product in the past.
Your Xeomin treatment
Before administering your Xeomin injections, we may apply a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort. You may feel slight pressure during the injections, but they should not be painful. After the treatment, which takes 10 to 20 minutes, you can return to your regular daily activities. You may experience some redness or swelling at the injection site, so you may want to wait a day or two before attending any important event or meeting.
BOTOX, Xeomin, or Dysport?
We offer several different wrinkle relaxers at Beauty IQ. If you have heard of Xeomin, you have probably also heard of BOTOX and Dysport. These three treatments all work with botulinum toxin A to treat wrinkles. While they are similar, BOTOX, Dysport, and Xeomin are formulated differently and thus have slightly different qualities. Depending on the facial area to be treated, we may recommend one or the other for you.
