Fillers, also known as injectables, ‘fill’ in the area under the skin to restore lost collagen due to the normal aging process. Fillers are one of the most popular, nonsurgical procedures as they instantly increase volume and a youthful fullness to the face with little to no downtime. Beauty IQ offers the most advanced Fillers on the market today including Restylane®, Silk®, Refyne®, Defyne®, Lfyt®, Sculptra®, Juvederm®, Voluma®, Volbella®, Vollure® and Kybella ®.
How Does it Work?
Dermal Fillers consist of natural and synthetic acids and calcium that are injected into select lines to add volume, correct contours and minimize facial wrinkles. Fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on the Filler you chose.
What are the different Fillers?
Juvederm® $650 is a delicate Filler perfect for accomplishing the subtle, natural-looking results most clients’ desire. It helps age-proof the entire mouth area, which is one of the first parts of the face to show signs of aging.
Voluma® $799 is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. HA fillers are made from long chains of sugars that occur naturally in the skin. Voluma is unique in that the HA is cross-linked through a process called Vycross that helps provide an excellent lifting capacity. This special cross-linking also helps to avoid degradation, making Voluma last almost twice as long as other fillers. Studies have shown that it can last up to 2 years. And since it is an HA filler, it can be molded and shaped into the desired contour after injection.
Volbella® $350 is a Hyaluronic Acid filler just like Juvederm and Voluma, but its unique properties make it ideal in treating both the fine lines around your mouth as well as bringing natural fullness to the lips. Volbella is an ultra-smooth gel, which delivers a natural look and feel the lip area without the swelling received from more traditional fillers.
Vollure® $595 is a Hyaluronic Acid Filler that reduces the appearance of more severe facial folds (parentheses) and lines around the mouth and nose. Vollure® produces subtle and long-lasting results for up to 18 months.
Restylane® $450 is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including the lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines).
Restylane Defyne® $550 is crafted with XpresHAn TechnologyTM to correct these deepened lines.3 The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Defyne is also designed to help support your facial expressions—for natural-looking results that help maintain your natural movement.1
Restylane Refyne® $525 is specifically formulated hyaluronic acid dermal filler made with XpresHAn TechnologyTM that helps correct these lines for a more natural look to your face. The unique cross-linking of the gel is designed to help support your natural expression—for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when you’re smiling, frowning and even puckering up.
Restylane Lyft® $550 formerly known as Perlane-L®, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face and hands. Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, midface area, and the back of the hands to help complete your aesthetic look — for face and hands.
Restylane Silk® $500 is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in the lips and lines around the mouth by using smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles.
Sculptra® $700 lAesthetic works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging. Sculptra Aesthetic is intended for use in people with healthy immune systems as a one-time treatment regimen of up to four injection sessions that are scheduled about three weeks apart.
What can I expect during the treatment?
Dermal Fillers are injected beneath the skin of the treated area with a small needle. You may experience swelling or minor bruising that will fade within a few days. The continued aging of your face and variables in the absorption of fillers will affect how long your results last, but typically, you can expect results to last about 6 months to a year or so.
What are the results?
Dermal Fillers are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles, contour the face and create volume. Clients will see an immediate youthful fullness to the area that is injected.
Is it Safe?
There is no downtime with Dermal Fillers. You can resume normal activity following the procedure. You’ll likely experience swelling or a bit of bruising, which should fade within a few days.
Are there any contraindications?
Patients with a history of severe allergy or anaphylaxis, bleeding disorders, and hypersensitivity to one of the components in the product preparation should not receive dermal fillers.
